Wowzah! I didn't post a single entry all summer long! It's long overdue, I apologize.
Summer was busy for us. Aunt Magda stayed with us all summer and the kids enjoyed spending time with her. They were sad to see her go. Bella still asks when Aunt Magda is coming back home (here) on her airplane.
In August we took a small vacation to Lake Cumberland with my parents on their boat. We rented a nice 3 bedroom house in a resort area that had tennis courts and a pool. It was super nice and everyone had a blast.
Bella's 3rd birthday party was a hit. She looked glorious in her red, formal dress and everyone had fun swimming and playing. It was nice - the clouds were overcast and the weather wasn't as major hot as in years past. I just can't believe my Princess 3. She is a pistol, I tell ya. Full of spunk and attitude. Nothing gets by Bella, LOL!
Sophie is 11 months old now and it is so hard for me to believe. She is really growing into a toddler and my baby is disappearing day by day (sniff sniff). She took her first steps at the same time Bella did - around 10.5 months. I was taking her portraits on a new backdrop and she stood and actually walked towards me. She isn't fully walking yet, but cruises around furniture and stands unassisted. She takes a few steps here and there. She is my super sweet, calm precious baby. My Sophie - so different than Bella. :) I am planning her 1st birthday party and need to get the invitations ordered asap!
The boys started preschool again - this will be their last year. They graduated to pre-K this year and have new teachers. We have met Evan's teacher and love her, but have yet to meet Aidan's teacher. That will happen on 9/15.
My photography business is booming. It kept me busy every single weekend since LAST Christmas. I did have a weekend break in August for our vacation, but I had to purposely plan that one. I NEEDED the break. I haven't stopped for almost a year now. I am already booked for the Holidays! Yikes!
That's about it for an update. Everyone is doing great and time is flying by!Comments:Add a comment:
