Merry Christmas everyone!
This year Christmas was such a difference experience. Evan and Aidan were really into it. Last year they still didn't get the whole present thing, but this year was an entirely different story. They enjoyed opening presents and seeing what everyone received. Bella is the same, she absolutely loved tearing into those presents and playing with her huge doll house she received.
It's funny how different they all are. Bella is so nurturing and so "girlie." She tends to Aidan a lot, and plays the peacekeeper role between the two boys on a lot of occasions. The boys are very territorial and tend to argue over their things (most often Evan wins, as he is more aggressive when it comes to his toys and belongings). Bella will walk over and rub their heads or hug them. She is so motherly, especially towards Aidan.
The boys received a huge Thomas the Train table with 2 thomas the Train wooden track sets that we combined and GLUED down. Evan cannot handle train tracks that collapse or don't stay together, so we figured gluing it all down was the best bet. The boys also received another hot wheel/train table (Step 2/plastic brand) that also converts to a play table. We bought them each a portable DVD player to take with us (emergencies), Thomas the Train mini laptops, an aqua doodle play mat and a travel aqua doodle, plus tons of cars and electric and wooden trains. They received new cloths and a backpack each for school which starts on 1/2/08. They received a Smart Cycle from Uncle TJ and Aunt Melissa (Richie and Carson, too). They received Leapsters, games and all kinds of toys and clothes from Grandma and Grandpa.
Izabella received a Fisher Price "My first dollhouse" with twin babies, mommy, daddy, little sister and Grandma. It came full of furniture. She immediately went over to that doll house and started playing with it. She also received some Barbies, a Barbie Carriage, Hanna Montana singing doll, a Barbie mini laptop, a mother/daughter bear that sings "In my daughter's eyes," a doll baby with an umbrella stroller (which is a huge hit between Bella and Evan). And from Aunt Melissa, Uncle TJ, Carson and Richie she received a Disney vanity that sings and talks, and Grandma and Grandpa got her a retro pink kitchen set, an electric-battery powered go kart for the Spring, Baby Alive, tons of clothes and jammies, and food/dishes for the kitchen.
We are overflowing with toys. I added a ton of new pictures to the photo album section and added a lot of new videos, too.
Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas.
May the Peace of the Lord be with you all.Comments:Add a comment:

Today the kids had their well baby checkups. Evan and Aidan had their 3 year old checkup and Izabella had her 15 month check up (but she is really 16 months old in a few days).
Izabella:
Weight: 22 lbs. even (35th percentile)
Height: 32" tall (83rd percentile)
Dr. said she is on target to be like me (Slawek said). Tall and skinny. I about spit out my drink at that one. I am FARRRRRRRRR from skinny these days. LOL!
We still delayed MMR (until age 2).
She did get chicken pox and DTaP, though, I believe.

Evan & Aidan's 3 year well check up stats:
Evan:
31 lbs. even (40th percentile)
37.8" tall (54th percentile)
Aidan:
33 1/2 lbs. (74th percentile)
38" tall (70th percentile)
Both Evan and Aidan are scheduled to start preschool on 1/2/08. I am so nervous for them! They will go to preschool thru the Fairfield City School District. How exciting! They will already be familiar with the Kindergarden building where they will go in a year and a half. I am excited we got them in for a half year, and then they will go all next year, too.
Aidan will be entering speech therapy, as well. He is undergoing some testing through Children's Hospital. It has been advised that he enter speech therapy as he is delayed in several areas. We'll get him up to speed. :)Comments:Add a comment:
