Happy 11 months old, boys! I can't believe it. In 1 month, you will be 1 year old. Where has the time gone?

We went to Emily's 1st Birthday party. It was held at Johnny's Toys Totter Otterville. The boys had a great time. We'll definitely be back. They loved playing in the balls and on the padded floors. I can't believe how much there is to do there (water discovery, kids grocery shopping, doll rooms, train rooms, mazes, fishing ponds, beach sand, a real train to ride in, a firetruck, face painting, etc. I could go on and on!)

We'll definitely have to go back. Next, I think we will check out the Children's Museum Center at Union Terminal. I hear they have a children's discovery area similar to this one!

Today we attended the annual Baby Reunion for the Institute for Reproductive Health (IRH). Both Dr. Scheiber and Dr. Awadalla were there. We walked up to talk with Dr. Scheiber and we couldn't believe he actually remembered us! He quoted specifics about me and Slawek and said hello to the boys. It was touching to see him hold our two miracle babies, considering he is the one that is responsible (through God's hand, of course) for our precious gifts. He held Evan and Aidan and we took a memorable photo. It is a day we won't forget.

We also were greated by a few of the Nurses from Dr. Scheiber's office. Ricia came over to say hello to us right away. I can't believe anyone remembers us from that office, especially since it's been 1 1/2 years since we have been there!

I also had a chance to finally meet a friend, Mandi and her family. I have spoken with her for over a year now, so it was nice to finally meet.

It was a wonderful day! The boys had a fabulous time at Burger Farm in the Pumpkin Patch, and we had a nice day remembering...

We visited my Grandpa Campbell (Evan and Aidan's Great Grandpa) tonight. We attended a Halloween Party at the Nursing Home. Evan and Aidan took 1st place among 0-4 year olds! Congratulations to my little bumpkins! It was nice to see Grandpa. I could tell he really loved seeing all the boys (Evan, Aidan and Richie).

It was 1 year ago today I was admitted (at 26 weeks) on strict bedrest in Good Sam Hospital's SCOB (Special Care OB) unit.

    I can't believe it's been a year.

Mr. Aidan climbs up stairs now. We have more than 10+ stairs that go up to our 2nd floor and he is the master at climbing them. And now the he knows how to climb them, all he wants to do is go to the stairs. We are in BIG trouble now.

    The Parents Of Twins

A meeting was convened one day
    In Heaven's sacred hall.
The ideal parents must be found
For twins so sweet and small.

They must be patient, first of all,
And calm and kind and wise,
    And capable of chasing tears
    Away from little eyes.

Would also put their children first
And have a lot of smarts,
    With dedication and resolve,
    Two sweet and loving hearts.

It was agreed you were the best --
    No other ones would do.
Yes, Heaven found the perfect ones
And sent those twins to you!

You were made a Mother of Twins

Now is the time when things settle down,
that one has a chance to look around.
To take a deep breath, smile and say
today really wasn't such a bad day.
That nobody got hurt, nobody got sick,
and Mom's coffee table got just one new nick.
Which is truely amazing considering the fact,
God gave you two babies, you can't send one back.
Yes, you have twins, that you can't ignore,
as you scrape the dried oatmeal off the floor.
The pleasures are many, the troubles are few,
remember you're a Mom doubly blessed with two.
No matter how bad things really seem,
one can take sour milk and turn it to cream.
For the day will come when they're no longer small,
and you'll say to yourself it wasn't any trouble at all.
So remember when you have trouble with your little pair,
that they were a gift from God, so precious and rare.
Some people will loose, but you'll share the wins,
because you were made the Mother of Twins.

Good news ~ Aidan's hemoglobin/anemia check is better than normal!

Aidan's hemoglobin was 10.2 last time (the minimum is 10.5). He has been on iron supplements twice a day for 3 1/2 weeks now and today he had his blood rechecked. His hemoglobin level is 12.7! Woo Hoo! Go Aidan! (He will be on iron supplements for 2 more months, just to make sure his iron doesn't deplete again).

Both boys got flu shot #1. They will get flu shot #2 on 11/4/05.

    That's the news for now!
